Community Education and Awareness
When it comes to issues like domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, and child abuse, we believe that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. A big key in the prevention of domestic violence is community education and awareness. WCDVP prioritizes community education through key partnerships and agency collaboration, and through educating the public on the key issues we seek to address. In order to end these problems, there must be a collaborative community response, which is what we are working toward with our community education program.
